Description The CMI Shembiner XLS is an anodized aluminum tool hook designed for arborists and tree climbers who need fast, reliable chainsaw and gear management at height. It semi-permanently attaches to the climbing harness and allows the climber to rack and remove the chainsaw in a single motion — no gate to open or close. Key Features The hook opening is wide enough to accept a chainsaw handle directly, eliminating the need for any intermediate attachment hardware. This makes tool management instant and one-handed, even during dynamic canopy work where fumbling with a gate is not an option. The XLS version improves on the XL with the addition of a rear stabilising plate — developed at customer request — that prevents the hook from rotating or shifting on the harness webbing during use, keeping it locked in exactly the right position at all times. An extra hole in the body allows a chainsaw lanyard to be attached directly to the hook, or additional tools to be carried. Compatible with harness webbing up to 2 inches (50 mm) wide. Made in the USA.
